Every once in a while, you stumble across something on your travels that stays with you long after the bags are unpacked. Maybe it’s a view, a conversation, or if you’re lucky, a taste of something wonderful. For me, that moment happened in Utah, tucked between crisp mountain air and a slow afternoon wander, when I tried cider after a long day of leisurely wandering.
There’s a particular kind of magic in discovering a flavor far from home. You’re relaxed, open, curious. Your senses are sharper. And when something hits just right, it imprints itself on the memory of that trip. Dendric Estate’s cider hits all of those notes exactly. It’s bright, clean, beautifully balanced, made in the Procesco method with the kind of craftsmanship that makes you pause, grin and savor.
So imagine my delight when I learned that Dendric Estate Cider is now officially shipping to Texas.
For those of us who love a good curated sip that’s hard to find, this is a win. It’s the kind of cider that feels equally at home in my backyard by the firepit or on a Dallas patio, tucked into a picnic basket for a fall festival. It might even be delightful poured at a holiday gathering where you want to bring something a little unexpected, fun, and a lot delicious.
Where’s it Made?
Dendric Estate is an organic estate orchard that sits at the uniquely high elevation of 6,440 feet in the Kamas Valley of northeastern Utah. Because of the high elevation and the unique climate conditions, it produces high-quality dry ciders using the same methods as classic Italian prosecco. The Dendric Estate Dry Cider is made from whole fruit grown on the estate and sourced from regional partner orchards.
It contains zero sugar, is naturally gluten free, and is lower in alcohol than traditional sparkling wine. This cider, aptly named Dry Cut, has drawn much love since its official launch in July of 2025. Made by husband-and-wife team, Brendan and Carly Coyle. Together, they draw decades of experience from helping to develop the legendary High West distillery and cultivating an artisan brand from scratch. It’s a powerful combination from a couple that dedicated to excellence and is so welcoming that you would love to sit by the fire with them and soak up the stories.
