Fall Cookie Butter Spice Latte

A cozy classic inspired by my sister’s house in Tennessee that signals the start of fall. This version is smooth, lightly sweet, and easy to customize.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (oat milk works beautifully)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or sugar (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp of Cookie Butter (I snag the walmart brand from my local store)
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1–2 shots espresso or half a cup of hot strong coffee

Instructions Warm the milk with cinnamon stick, sweetener, cookie butter and spices in a small pot. Whisk until smooth and steaming. Add espresso, stir, and finish with whipped cream or a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.

Honey Cinnamon Hot Toddy

Perfect for a quiet evening or a when you’ve got a tickle in the back of your throat moment. Warm, soothing, and gently spiced.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp pure honey (Savannah Bee Company is my favorite)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice and a slice for decoration
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 oz bourbon (optional)

Instructions Combine hot water, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Add bourbon and lemon slice, if desired. Serve warm.

Spiced Apple Cider Chai

A kid-friendly, crowd-pleasing drink that blends orchard sweetness with chai warmth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup strong chai tea – (double brewed Lipton works in a pinch)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Apple slices
  • Optional: splash of oat milk or cream

Instructions Warm cider and chai together. Add honey and cinnamon, simmer briefly, and serve with apple slices. Add oat milk or cream for creaminess.

Spicy Watermelon Margarita

A refreshing, late-summer cocktail with a kick, perfect for patio evenings or weekend gatherings. We have fallen hard for Twisted Alchemy’s cold-pressed juices. Think consistently high-quality flavor and no extra additives. We snag them at Whole Foods here in Dallas, but they are also available online.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz premium tequila (also nice with vodka)
  • 1.5 oz Twisted Alchemy Cold-Pressed Watermelon Twist (we snag ours at our local Whole Foods)
  • 2 oz Twisted Alchemy Spicy Skinny Citrus Margarita Mixer
  • Dried citrus wheel, for garnish

Instructions Combine tequila, watermelon juice, and spicy citrus mixer in a shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a glass, and garnish with a dried citrus wheel.
