If you’ve followed me on Instagram @teiacollier, you already know my lane: clean + luxe, but adventure-ready. I love vehicles that actually fit real life. And the 2025 Kia EV9 surprised me in the best way — again.

This isn’t an EV that feels like it’s asking you to change who you are. The EV9 adapts to you—your schedule, your style, your everyday chaos and curated moments alike — and makes it easier.
Exterior: Strong Lines, Soft Confidence
The EV9 has that boxy, architectural presence I love. It feels composed and steady in motion. It’s bold without being aggressive, modern without screaming for attention. Whether it’s parked curbside downtown or rolling into a weekend escape, it holds its own in the design lane and reminds you that Kia has beautifully upgraded their design game.

This is the kind of SUV that works just looks good. It feels intentional and solid—and that matters.
Interior: A Calm, Elevated Space

Inside is where the EV9 really shines. Think the beauty and space of Kia’s flagship Telluride but make it electric. The cabin is light, open, and calming—very quiet luxury. Flat floors, thoughtful sustainable materials, and a layout that feels more like an executive lounge than a traditional SUV. Charging ports where they need to be and within easy reach of all passengers.

Add to the fact that the third row is actually usable, and the flexibility across all rows makes it ideal for real life: school drop-offs, content days, road trips, grocery runs, or just decompressing between stops with a good audiobook and a latte.

More than that it feels good to sit in. And when you’re in your car as much as I am, that’s everything.
Tech That Works with You, Rather Than Against You
The dual-screen setup is sleek and intuitive—clean visuals, easy flow, no unnecessary clutter. I appreciate tech that supports the experience instead of distracting from it, and Kia nailed that balance here.

Driver-assist features feel reassuring, not invasive, which is key. The EV9 feels confident on the road—smooth acceleration, steady handling, and a calm presence even at highway speeds. Also, the modern and convenient vehicle to load function (basically using the EV9 as a massive power bank) allows you power almost anything — including your home with ease.
Performance & Charging: Built for Real Life
Power delivery is smooth and composed—not jerky, not overdone. It moves when you need it to but never feels chaotic. And with fast-charging capability, it fits into a lifestyle that doesn’t slow down just because the vehicle is electric.
I found charging to be simple, especially since it comes with an adaptable charger — that connects to both the universal chargers as well as the ones particular to the vehicles coming from Tesla. It’s a smart and clean adaptation that makes the process simple and easy.

This is an EV you can actually plan around—errands, shoots, travel days, and yes, longer road trips like the road from Dallas to Austin, without range anxiety. It’s an excellent addition to the EV landscape.
Final Take

The 2025 Kia EV9 feels like a grown-up EV—polished, practical, and stylish without trying too hard. It aligns with a lifestyle that values ease, intention, and presence.
If you’re looking for an electric SUV that feels elevated, purposeful and elevated—one that transitions seamlessly from the everyday to escape mode—the EV9 makes a very strong case for itself.
This is the kind of vehicle that fits the whole picture. And that’s exactly what I look for. To learn more about the 2025 Kia EV9, visit here.
